 GoharGohar was often termed as 'Glorious Gohar'. She was born in 1910 in Lahore. She left Lahore with film-maker Chandulal Shah to form Jagdish film and then Ranjit Cinetone Company. Gohar's first hit was Homi Master's Lanka Ni Laadi. Gohar acted in several Master films in roles especially scripted for her by Mohanlal Dave. She acted in many films. Barrister's wife and Raj Ramani were known for her performance. |

 Krishna Chandra DeyK.C. Dey was one of the leading musicians of Bengal cinema, particularly the New Theatres' of Calcutta. Krishna Chandra Dey was born in Calcutta in 1904. K. C. Dey used to sing for films of Calcutta's East India Company (of Kardar Saheb) and New Theatres. Among the films to which K.C. Dey rendered his voice of rich timbre were Puran Bhagat, Devadas, Vidyapathi, Dhartimatha, and Bhagyachakra. |
